“Style From Within” Collection

Style from within is a personal mantra of mine. It’s an active declaration of my inner creativity and a reminder to tap in to all that lies within me. In collaboration with the Morningside Art Exchange (MAE)–a student-led collective organizing commerce between artists and creatives alike–Black Style at Barnard is releasing a collection of screenprinted pieces that will be sold at MAE’s annual Morningside Park pop-up.

I drew the design incorporating my mantra, and screenprinted the photographed pieces. It was such a joy to see my design come to life, and I am very grateful to my models for beautifully executing my vision and creative direction!

B.O.S.S. Babes

Commemorating the relaunch of Black Style at Barnard and the release of the new B.O.S.S. merch, B.O.S.S. Babes explores the self-expressive nature of Black style and the communities formed to protect and uplift it.

Ijoya in the 90s

Ijoya–Columbia University’s premier West African dance group–asked me to creatively direct and photograph their Fall 2023 E-Board photoshoot. Ijoya in the 90s features members dressed in sporty and denim-clad styles popularized by 90s dancers.
